About Us

Two Central Iowa training facilities, Kawa Farms K-9 Training of Winterset and Canine Craze Performance Center of Urbandale have come together to create unique and fun opportunities for people and their pet dogs.  Together they have formed Pack 515 – Krazy K-9s where they will have an event, meeting, or organized outing at least once a month providing opportunities for people and their dogs to earn points towards their badges.

Both Kawa Farms and Canine Craze believe in helping people build better relationships with their canine family members through positive reinforcement training, trust, respect, and education.

Adventure Dogs of Iowa (Pack 515) is registered with Adventure Dogs USA (ADUSA).  A national organization providing exceptional opportunities for people and their dogs to stay active and learn to be good role models in the community.  Currently their are 50 different badges that people, their dogs, or people and dogs as a team can earn.

Certified ADUSA 1 – 3 badges coincide with APDT’s Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.) certificate program and are a great way to jump start your adventure!  Training assistance to help prepare you and your canine partner for these badges are offered via private lessons through Kawa Farms or group classes through Canine Craze.

The Pack Leader, Jennifer Hirakawa of Kawa Farms K-9 Training and Assistant Pack Leader, Renee Jetter of Canine Craze are C.L.A.S.S. instructors and evaluators and will be leading Adventure Dogs of Iowa events, group outings, evaluations, and more!
